Texas Tech vs. Texas

I've survived my first week at the A-J. What a week. It was mostly surrounded by the Texas Tech vs. Texas game. Which was awesome to experience that game right on the field. It was probably my favorite assignment so far in my career. Below are some of the photos I took during the week.

The students set up this town of tents called Raiderville where they even have a mayor. It's really crazy. They camped outside the stadium all last week in hopes to get into the game. I've never seen anything like it. They started setting up camp again today for this weekends game. People in Texas love their football.

The very last photo in my slideshow ran full page on the front page of the Sports section. They are making a poster of it :)

Some other perks..
-Matthew McConaughey was on the sidelines <3 he was even kind enough to show me his butt when I aimed the camera at him.
-I was spotted on t.v. a few times by friends and family.

All I really have to say is that I love my job and it really helps to have great people to work with :)
